I need to take advantage of being able to post from my blackberry.
I hope you all are having a great day so far. I wanted to finish the last of my thread tips today. You are probably sick of thread lol
To continue with matching threads. For plaids, tweeds, and prints, match the thread to the predominant or background color.
Here is another one that has nothing to do with matching thread with fabric. I think I may have touched on this before.
IF YOUR MACHINE STITCH QUALITY IS POOR, DON’T BE SO QUICK TO BLAME THE THREAD. USUALLY IT’S THE NEEDLE. SKIPPED STITCHES, PUCKERED SEAMS, POOR TENSION AND THREAD BREAKAGE MAY BE THE RESULT IF THE NEEDLE IS DAMAGED OR THE WRONG SIZE FOR THE THREAD AND FABRIC. A NEW NEEDLE WILL WORK WONDERS!
