As you can see there is going to be no tip of the week today.
The angels family lost another member. It’s been 3 in less than a year. I don’t know about you but I love my team and this kind of stuff is as hard on me as it is on the players, the coaching staff, management and even the families of those members lost.

April ’09 we lost nick adenhart
YESTERDAY we lost rory markas.
Rory made some great calls for our team. I’m sure most angels fans will agree that our favorite has got be “Erstad says he’s got it… Erstad… makes the catch! The Anaheim Angels are the champions of baseball!”. I cry everytime I hear it. Now it is going to be even harder.
The sister and I keep talking about how most of our championship team is gone. We just lost chone figgins and john lackey. Scot shields is the only player still with us along with some of the coaching staff and mike scioscia. Rory markas was part of that championship team and will be missed.

i know very well how much your team means to you and i can imagine how difficult it is to say goodbye to yet another member of the angel community. i’m here for you. for good.
